Our sales team is powered by a group of dedicated professionals. As a member of the Mentice sales organization, you’ll harness our unique intellectual property, innovative technology, and solutions-based approach. We partner with medical device companies to enhance training, drive device adoption, boost productivity - ultimately improving patient outcomes.

This is a full-time position located in our Americas headquarters in Chicago, IL, reporting to the VP, Head of Sales North America.

About the role

As a Sales Specialist, your primary responsibilities include receiving and fulfilling consumable orders, collaborating with field sales representatives to secure recurring revenue, and assisting with order processing and closure. Additionally, you’ll develop qualified leads by researching and identifying potential accounts, and connect these opportunities with internal stakeholders.

The role includes (but is not limited to):

  1. Build and execute plans to boost revenue and customer satisfaction.
  2. Collaborate with field sales to ensure services and software subscription renewals.
  3. Build strong internal relationships to help drive account success.
  4. Handle and fulfill consumable orders according to process.
  5. Research and identify potential accounts to develop sales opportunities.
  6. Qualify leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
  7. Track performance and sales metrics regularly.
  8. Provide feedback to relevant departments.
  9. Utilize tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn and others.
  10. Assist with order cleanup for specific clients.

Required:

  1. Bachelor degree.
  2. 1-2 years of relevant sales experience.
  3. Commercial background & business acumen.
  4. Ability to multitask, adapt quickly and work independently.
  5. Self-motivated with strong task discipline.
  6. Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  7. Excellent English communication skills.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships via phone and email.
  9. Knowledge of sales processes from initiation to closure.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Preferred:

  1. Medical device industry experience.
  2. Emphasis in Business, Life Sciences, Medicine, or related preferred.
  3. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all functional areas.
