Ultium Cells will produce battery cells for General Motors North American electric vehicle applications.The Ultium cell partners include LG Energy Solutions; the world’s largest manufacturer of automotive battery cells in the world and General Motors a global company committed to delivering safer, better and more sustainable ways for people to get around.Job Description:Ultium Cells seeks a Sr. FP&A Manager who is responsible for collecting and studying the financial and operational data to analyze profitability of the business, extracting and defining relevant information. The candidate will dig into complex datasets to analyze trends and translate them into actionable insights for continuous process/profitability improvements. This role also will be able to communicate with cross-functional teams and individuals within the company.Job Responsibilities:Lead thoughtful, timely month-end reporting and financial analysisDevelop the yearly budget, pro forma financial statements and communicate action plan with the cross functional teamsManage the Monthly Rolling Forecast; communicate with each function and develop tactics to attain the budgetHelp revamp budget/forecast models to streamline processes for greater efficiencyPerform cost variance analyses in key indicators (forecast vs. actual).
