Responsibilities:

As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our client’s procurement processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Competitive Analysis: Utilize the Panjiva Supply Chain Intelligence platform or similar sources to deliver improved competitive analysis and reporting that supports strategic sourcing.
  • Reporting Improvements: Implement enhancements using PowerBI and Business Objects XI to provide data-driven decision options for the Procurement Team.
  • Market Reporting: Design and manage key market reporting to ensure uniform access to critical information.
  • Dashboard Development: Create and maintain dashboards as requested by the Procurement team and other stakeholders.
  • Supplier Rating System: Develop and maintain a supplier rating system for ingredients and services utilized by the Procurement team.
  • Budgeting Leadership: Serve as the lead for Procurement budgeting and manage monthly cost loaders to ensure accurate market price reporting.
  • Cash and Inventory Forecasting: Lead cash and inventory forecast initiatives and reporting.
  • Policy Adherence: Drive the implementation of global purchasing policies to ensure inventory levels comply with corporate standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead Procurement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency, drive cost savings, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Market Insights: Collaborate with the procurement team to gain insights into the markets our client operates in and sources from.
  • Excel Reporting: Work extensively with Excel reports, collaborating with the team to effectively utilize and interpret the data presented.
  • Lean Journey Participation: Contribute to the initial stages of the organization’s Lean Journey by identifying opportunities for streamlining processes and reducing redundancies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in report development.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel is essential, as you will work with various reports and collaborate with the team to interpret and leverage the data.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with the procurement tool Panjiva is highly desirable; a solid understanding of its utilization is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and leverage company reports to develop and implement effective strategies.
  • Proven capability to analyze current workflows and propose effective process improvement strategies.
  • Understanding of the company’s procurement market (spices and herb extracts) is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is also valued.
