Greenham USA, renowned for its commitment to quality and excellence in the grass-fed and commodity beef market, has recently expanded to the United States and is adding a talented sales person to their team. 

The successful candidate will report to and be mentored by the Chief Commercial Officer and sell containers of commodity beef to foodservice, industrial, and retail accounts in the US. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee sales of all commodity products including trimmings, thin meats and a variety of primal cuts
  • Monitor inventory levels across inbound and storage and optimize where appropriate
  • Provide forecasts, inventory and sold position reports to management, Australian based sales team and customers as requested
  • Liaise with import houses, storage facilities and logistics companies to execute sales as required
  • Provide direction to Australian based packing houses as to shipping location for all orders
  • Monitor inventory valuations and adjust to reflect current market conditions
  • Occasional interstate travel required

Experience required

  • Bachelors or equivalence in the Agricultural/Economic sector
  • Minimum 5 years experience in beef sales with preference of overlap between domestic and imported products
  • Experience in the grass fed and natural beef sector would be of preference
  • Intrinsic understanding of protein market analytics specific to the beef industry
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Existing industry relationships
  • Ability to work independently yet maintain a steady feedback loop to management
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Preference for experience with Parity Factory, Salesforce and Business Central
