Description:
As a key member of our Tax team, the position will assume a strategic role in high level tax oversight, client relationship management, and team development. The primary day-to-day responsibilities may involve tax planning, individual and business tax return review, building and maintaining a local business professional network, strategic planning, engagement planning and oversight, quality control review, mentoring, and training staff.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of Individual, Partnership, Trust, Corporation, and S Corporation tax returns
- Assist with tax planning
- Team oversight, training, and development
- Networking with local businesses and community members
- Oversees tax engagements
- Participates and contributes to firm-wide strategic planning and goals
- Community business development
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- Minimum of 5 years of related public accounting experience
- Proven leadership abilities
Qualifications:
- Proficient technical tax knowledge
- Must enjoy "taking care" of their clients
- Proven time and project management skills, able to effectively manage client relationships and workload
