Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is looking for self-starting, team-oriented Full-Stack Application Software Engineers to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team working on large-scale enterprise application systems for Space Domain purposes using web technologies, distributed computation, as well as sophisticated cloud technologies, frameworks, and cutting-edge domain analytics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a software development and integration team focused on mission-unique software to be developed and integrated with existing and new cutting-edge capabilities.
Essential Functions:
- The Software engineer will perform the development and integration via industry best practices, including Agile methodologies for the government system.
- The Software Engineer will provide mission application and framework development support.
- The Software Engineer participates in a development team that uses modern DevSecOps software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure.
- The Senior Software Engineer will help maintain and develop new capabilities to the deployed system, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide support to end-users as needed.
- The ideal candidate will have the technical talent and desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.
- Utilize Agile Software Development Processes and Methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban).
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with consent to CI Poly.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with Java, JEE object-oriented programming.
- Experience with the JavaScript Vue.js framework.
- Experience with Microservices.
- Agile Software Development Process and Methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Experience with C++ and/or Python programming languages.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar Relational Database Management System (RDBMS).
- Experience with containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or GovCloud.
- Experience with Front-End web development, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, or HTML.
- Experience with unit testing.
- Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Docker, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
