YOUR ROLE
- Primary function involves firmware development, verification, and evaluation of IC devices
- Provides, presents and interprets design, application, and service information (local link to an abroad design team, application notes writing)
- Helps the design team in duplicating the customer environment
- Software has to communicate to hardware (microcontrollers and power devices)
- Working towards a Bachelors/Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Good general electronic background including:
- Analog, Digital and power electronic (up to a few kW)
- Regulators (linear, switching, synchronous, negative, charge pump)
- DAC and ADC
- Firmware programming experience (Pythons, C, C++, API)
- Excellent debug and problem solving skills
- Experience with typical lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, waveform generators)
- Trustworthy and independent worker
- Good communication skills (written and verbal, intercultural)
- Results oriented / sense of urgency and priorities
