Overnight Baker - Pie Room by Curtis Stone
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Overnight Baker to join our team at Pie Room by Curtis Stone. In this role, you will be responsible for baking all of our products during the night shift, ensuring that everything is ready for the next day’s service. Some minimal pre-production prep work may be required. This is a key position that requires excellent attention to detail, time management, and a passion for baking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, bake, and finish all bakery products (breads, pastries, and other baked goods) according to our established recipes and standards.
• Conduct minimal pre-production prep as needed to ensure the efficient flow of baking and production.
• Manage oven temperatures, baking times, and other key factors to produce consistent, high-quality products.
• Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and bakery areas.
• Ensure that all products are baked on time and meet quality standards for freshness and presentation.
• Assist in managing inventory and report any shortages or issues.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are upheld.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a baker, preferably in a high-volume production setting.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and familiarity with professional kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during overnight shifts.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in output.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
Working Conditions:
• Overnight shift; may require working on weekends or holidays depending on production needs.
• Ability to lift and move ingredients and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods and working in a hot kitchen environment.
