Job Description:

The Director/Senior Director of Channel Marketing at DDN will play a critical role in building and executing a comprehensive channel marketing strategy that drives pipeline growth and revenue outcomes through key partners. This role is essential for establishing and enhancing relationships with strategic partners, including Nvidia, Supermicro, Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, and major server vendors and resellers.

The ideal candidate will be based in the Bay Area and possess deep experience in channel marketing within the technology sector, particularly with an emphasis on AI, cloud, and data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Channel Strategy Development & Execution:
    • Develop and implement a channel marketing strategy focused on driving revenue through key partners.
    • Identify and prioritize opportunities within the partner ecosystem to maximize DDN’s market presence and revenue.
    • Collaborate with sales and product teams to align marketing strategies with partner objectives and business goals.
  2. Partner Engagement & Enablement:
    • Build strong relationships with partner marketing teams.
    • Develop partner-specific marketing programs.
    • Provide ongoing training and enablement to partner sales and marketing teams.
  3. Pipeline Growth & Revenue Acceleration:
    • Drive pipeline growth and accelerate revenue outcomes.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for co-selling and upselling.
    • Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of channel marketing programs.
  4. Joint Marketing Initiatives:
    • Lead the planning and execution of joint marketing initiatives.
    • Leverage DDN’s strong relationships to create high-impact marketing activities.
  5. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with DDN’s corporate marketing and other teams.
    • Collaborate with partner account managers and sales leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years in channel marketing with a proven track record.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of the AI, cloud, and data infrastructure markets.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Location: Remote in the Bay Area, California.

Salary range: $217,446.00 - $271,807
