Are you a seasoned UX Designer, passionate about new technologies, driving change through data, and using customer obsessed design processes to create products and services?
We're on a journey to build something new! The vehicle sales team is looking for a thoughtful and passionate UX Designer who sees technology as a way to re-imagine the car buying process. We are building new research, discovery, and shopping products that can connect customers to their car of choice. Our goal is to simplify the car buying process and our group functions as a start-up within Amazon. We offer a creative, fast paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you’ll be at the center of Amazon innovation.
Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate and work closely with other designers, research, product management, and engineering from design concept to design solution, setting UX guidelines and driving cross-team collaboration and sharing.
- Work in a start-up style environment, where iteration is encouraged and design acumen is demonstrated through design end-to-end product ownership.
- Simplify complex ideas and create intuitive experiences, using research and data to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
- Engage with different audiences and varying levels of the organization to drive solutions forward.
- Earn trust with key partners to develop a shared vision through excellent storytelling, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Mentor junior talent.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
