Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our millwork products.
Position Overview:
The QC Coordinator will be responsible for inspecting millwork products to verify that they meet design specifications and quality standards. This involves conducting thorough inspections, taking accurate measurements, and documenting findings.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect finished products for size, fit, and finish accuracy.
Compare work orders and drawings to finished goods and identify any discrepancies.
Conduct test installations to confirm product accuracy and functionality.
Organize materials for assembly.
Collect, enter, and analyze data related to quality control.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and product drawings.
Strong math skills and proficiency with computer software.
Experience with carpentry tools and techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Physical fitness to lift up to 100 lbs and perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, and walking.
Experience and Education:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inspection, quality control, or a related production environment.
2+ years of experience in custom or finish carpentry is preferred.
Work Environment:
Mild exposure to sawdust, cleaning materials, and shop machinery noise.
Air-conditioned and heated production area.
Compensation:
$18-22/hour. This position may have the potential to transition to a permanent role.
