Director of Nursing
In this role, you will:
- Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing care services in our community, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans, policies, and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of nurses and nursing assistants, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee medication administration, resident assessments, and care coordination with other healthcare providers.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the quality of care.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and other team members.
You are the ideal candidate if you have:
- A current and active RN license in the state of New York.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a senior living or assisted living facility, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing nursing care plans and policies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- A strong commitment to resident-centered care and quality improvement.
