Job Title: Shipping General
Summary Description: Operations of forklifts and hand operated industrial lifts to move items within the facility and load/unload trucks. Cooler requires stacking boxes of products and moving items inside the facility.
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
1. Cooler-Stacks boxes of product, moves items inside the facility.
2. Forklift Operator-Operates powered and hand operated industrial lift trucks to move items safely throughout the facility and load/unload trucks.
3. Follow the written specification for packaging and labeling of products.
4. Physically inspects all packaging for condition and proper labeling.
5. Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.
6. Abnormal situations would be: Product tampering, product adulteration, unauthorized employees in restricted areas, equipment malfunction that may put wholesomeness at stake.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
1. Must be able to stand/walk 100% of the work day.
2. Gripping and repetitive use of hands.
3. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb steps.
4. Must be comfortable working in organic conditions.
