Who We Are…
Ned’s Club Washington DC is a new members’ club that is opening soon around the corner from the White House. It’s the second US based ‘Ned’ site to open following the launch of The Ned London in 2017.
The Property…
Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW, opposite the US Treasury. The 12-storey building was constructed in 1930 and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.
The Club features a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury, and Washington Monument, along with a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery, and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.
As an integral part of the Events Sales team, you will:
- Comply with company standards for sales and marketing, while working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and the Executive Committee.
- Ensure that function set up meets or exceeds customer expectations by working closely with each group's meeting planners to determine their needs, ensuring proper communication and coordination to satisfy customer requests.
- Follow up regularly on the status of functions, including inspecting function rooms, greeting customers, and making last-minute changes and additions as necessary.
- Maintain proper documentation of events, including complete programming of all sales and catering bookings.
- Compile and review daily lists of events and conduct catering audits as needed.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and direct sales goals, including outside sales calls and prospecting.
- Provide personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork when delivering guest service.
- Identify and utilize upsell opportunities to maximize sales above contracted minimum spend.
