Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead new and existing early stage solar, solar + storage and standalone storage assets throughout the Eastern United States, with a focus on PJM territory
- Lead a team of up to 5 direct reports
- Coordinate with internal teams and outside consultants to ensure projects meet development milestones and mitigate risks
- Initiate and support relationships with local jurisdictions to ensure projects obtain incentives and maintain good standing in communities
- Maintain development asset database with core project inputs and status updates
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis of prospective development projects
- Assist in acquisition of development assets and/or platforms as needed
- Support the Land, Permitting and Interconnection teams with research and strategies for development
- Support the Utility and Commercial Power Marketing teams for RFP responses and other outreach
- Research emerging renewable energy markets and identify new development prospects
- Manage budgeting including forecasting spend, updating current spend, and budget reporting
- Assist Market Leader with execution on strategy and developing market strategy
Desired Skills and Expertise:
- Outstanding organizational, communication, decision making, analytical and time management skills
- 5+ years’ experience administering energy projects and/or project financing of renewable energy projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics (or equivalent CRM; i.e. Salesforce)
- Experience dealing successfully with peers, subordinates, management, and third parties
- Exceptional presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for renewable energy industry
Education:
- BA/BS degree required with concentration in business, finance, economics, engineering, or other quantitative/environmental fields
Compensation:
