Description
Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a qualified individual who is interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants. Applicants with experience working for first-class hospitality organizations will be strongly considered.
This is a 2:00 PM - 10:00PM shift. Must have the flexibility to work five days a week Sunday through Saturday 32-40 hours per week.
JOB SUMMARY
Cold Station Cook would be responsible for preparing food in our Normandy Farm Banquet Kitchen which includes, all cold food items, salads, cold appetizers etc. We are looking for candidates that are organized, responsible, have a positive demeanor, and are team players.

  • Attends and participates in all training sessions and team meetings
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner
  • Prepares all items required for line and special function purposes
  • Carefully follows standard house recipes when preparing food
  • Serves items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards
  • Always maintains a clean and organized workstation
  • Properly stores all food products in appropriate storage areas
  • Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct
  • Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management
  • Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Cleans and locks up according to prescribed procedures

  • Reports to Sous Chef
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a la carte kitchen preparation and cooking
  • Must be able to clearly communicate with managers and staff
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have your own reliable transportation to get to and from work.
  • Be able to reach, bend and stoop frequently.
  • be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)

Salary Description
$16.00 - $18.00 based on experience
