Packaging Engineer

Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Packaging Engineer for our client based out of Greensboro, NC. This assignment is anticipated to be a ­­12 month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.

This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Support Electrical Engineering components development with packaging and installation design activities.
• Design, develop, review, and approve technical solutions and secure alignment with Electrical Engineering strategies.
• Responsible for securing the interest of electrical packaging and installation for all ongoing and potential future projects.
• Have an operational responsibility in the day-to-day work within given processes and procedures.
• Make decisions on larger adjustments and propose new technical solutions.
• Support junior team members and peers.
• Act as a role model of lifelong learning, sharing knowledge, and developing others as a trainer and/or coach.
• Develop influence and work confidently within the wider network.

Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• CATIA CAD experience and willingness to use Creo.
• Advanced knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience.
• Experience in supporting junior team members and peers.
• Ability to develop a broader T-shaped profile.
