Junior Billing Agent
Classification: Non-Exempt, Temp
Location: Inglewood, CA (onsite)
Working Hours: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm (Can be adjusted to 7:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Overview:
A global leading Freight Forwarding/ Logistics company is looking for a motivated candidate for the opening of Billing Agent.
The main duties include generating invoices to mail out to customers and scanning documents as backups.
This position is a great junior-level position to utilize your data entry skills and develop professionally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not are limited to:
* Generate invoices daily for clients through the Unified Freight System (UFS) by accurately compiling and reviewing shipment data.
* Ensure that all billing information is complete, accurate, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
* Distribute invoices to clients via preferred methods in email, postal mail, FedEx, and/or upload to the payment website.
* Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records and documentation.
* Collaborate with the operations team to collect necessary information for billing purposes.
* Address any discrepancies or concerns raised by clients and work towards timely resolution.
* Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
* Basic mathematics skills
* Willingness to learn new systems (Logistics Applications such as AS400) and interest in Freight Forwarding/Global Logistics industry
* Experience as billing/accounting and/or Freight Forwarding industry is a plus


The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
