Travel Nurse RN - PCU in Louisville, KY

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years
**License:** State License Required
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH
**Must-Have:**
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring
- IV therapy including PICC line management and dressing changes
- IV medications, including administration of antibiotics and drips such as heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, and cardizem
- Tracheostomy management
- Intermediate/step-down experience
**Job Description:**
- Work in a 21-bed unit with patient ratios ranging from 3:1 to 5:1 depending on patient needs.
- Handle BiPAPs, high flow equipment, telemetry monitoring, and occasional cardiac drips.
- Float to other PCU or Med Surg units as needed.
- Provide excellent critical thinking skills in stressful situations.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and flexibility with changes in patient assignments or units.
- Foster a supportive environment with a good sense of humor to relieve stress among team members and build trust with patients and families.
- Wear galaxy blue scrubs with blue or black bottoms for attire.
- Work every other weekend and cover at least two out of three major holidays.
- Join an accredited center with advanced heart care and be part of recognized medical firsts.
- Be involved in the latest therapies and comprehensive care in a setting known for its pioneering medical achievements.
