Position Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will help to design, develop, and maintain applications across a wide range of use cases. The position requires experience in both front-end and back-end development. Working independently and collaboratively with data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts, you will solve complex healthcare industry problems. A minimum of two years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree are required for this role. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in a Software Engineering role.
  • 1-2+ years in full-stack development to include OOP design, debugging, server-side frameworks, client-side frameworks, source control, design patterns and software architecture.
  • 1-2+ years operating in a public cloud provider such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
  • 1-2+ years in server-side development using languages such as Python and Java.
  • 1-2+ years with developing client-side solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS or equivalents.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to testing applications using tools like Selenium, Playwright or Puppeteer.
  • Experience with DevOps and deploying code through automation.
  • Knowledge of API architectures such as REST, SOAP, RPC and GraphQL.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $82,915.00 - $175,100.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
