Job Description

Job Title: SAS Admin

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6+ Months

Responsibilities:

1. Seeking a Senior level (6-10 years) SAS administrator.
2. Must come from banking/finance industries, experience within enterprise environments, SAS Grid and/or other Enterprise SAS Products.
3. Experience with Unix/Linux Shell Scripting and LSF Administration.
4. Preferably experience implementing SAS Grid for a Financial Services (banking) organization; plus if for Risk or Finance modeling groups.
5. Experience with administration and tuning for SAS Grid Manager/SAS Platform.
6. Expertise in setup of queues, prioritization, manage jobs and thresholds.
7. Experience with troubleshooting and configuration of SAS Grid environment/components.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Implementing, administering and supporting SAS Grid and/or other Enterprise SAS Products.
10. Monitoring and troubleshooting SAS services.
11. Installing and configuring SAS software, implementing hotfixes, software patches, and licenses.
12. SAS Metadata Management - user management, defining libraries, setting permissions and access controls.
13. Backup and restore strategies, Security and Authentication related to SAS access.
14. Integration with enterprise Control-M scheduling system.
15. Able to assist with modifying SAS code to leverage SAS Grid process capabilities to reduce run times and improve throughput.

Qualifications

Required SAS Admin with Banking or Finance experience, not a Clinical SAS Admin.
