Director of Engineering Job Overview:
Director of Engineering will assume overall responsibility for the effective functioning of Engineering/ IT operations. Formulate and execute comprehensive budgets for both departments, incorporating strategic plans for operational enhancement. Direct the activities of Project, Design, and Controls Engineering ensuring seamless order execution within project budgets and schedules. Serve as a key liaison with customers, providing essential support and acting as a management interface. Deliver requisite technical support to all internal departments and support initiatives for product development.
Director of Engineering Duties:
- Supervision and direct interface with Mechanical Engineering Design staff
- Supervision and direct interface with Project Engineering staff on major projects and scheduling
- Supervision and direct interface with Electrical Controls staff on controls design criteria
- Departmental administrative activity and general management as required
- Direct interface in supporting Sales & Marketing
- Prepare and submit reports, analysis and presentations
- Direct interface in activities related to ISO, Quality and Safety
- Provide technical support to Technical Center and Pharma Lab
- Manufacturing interface with Engineering
- Direct interface in activities related to Facilities issues.
Director of Engineering Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of related experience in the design of rotating machinery
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Master's degree preferred
Director of Engineering Skills:
- Experience with dry powder processing machinery
- Mechanical process and design background
- Engineering Management

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
