PC Deployment Technician

firstPRO is seeking a PC Deployment Technician to join our customer’s deployment team. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with end users, department managers, and project managers to ensure smooth and efficient device deployments. This is a long term consulting opportunity and will sit onsite in Dover, DE. Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate device deployments by collaborating with end users and department managers.
• Work with project managers and end users to understand migration needs, create deployment schedules, and manage expectations effectively.
• Configure and stage clinical and non-clinical devices (PCs, phones, peripherals) on-site or at the configuration center.
• Manage Windows 10-11 device deployment and troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.
• Oversee equipment management, including repurposing machines for redeployment or disposal.
• Report deployment successes and any issues to the project team.
• Support and work alongside a team of 4-8 deployment technicians.
• Assist in migration efforts while working as a team player.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in computer hardware installation, maintenance, and repair, with strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
• A customer-focused mindset with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to document system architecture, release and implementation plans, and maintain clear internal documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, with solid problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
