OverviewThis position is contingent upon contract awardSOSi is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to join our team in Greensboro, NC and provide oversight and clinical leadership to support the care and processing of up to 1,100 non-citizen unaccompanied children (UC) in accordance with HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) UC Policy Guidance.Essential Job DutiesCoordinate closely with Program Management to support development and supervision of all clinical activities; ensure accepted medicine practice standards and credential/licensing requirements are met for all personnel.Develop, implement, revise, and update policies and procedures for UC case in accordance with UC Policy Guidance.Conduct system audits and clinical quality and patient safety programs.Develop, implement, and monitor management of patient care incidents of complaints and deviations from established guidelines and standards.Support development and improvement efforts for policies and procedures for medical services.Provide preventive health recommendations and policies.Other duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with a full and unrestricted medical license and DEA license.10+ years of clinical and progressive physician leadership roles required.Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement suitability determination for holding a Public Trust position.Ability to obtain/maintain pre-employment medical clearance.Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.Demonstrated compassion and professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent care.Excellent professional manner and interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Preferred QualificationsBoard Certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Emergency Medicine.Subspecialty Board Certification by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in Emergency Medical Services.Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish and English is highly preferable.Prior Shelter experience working with Migrant families and/or children preferred but not required.Work EnvironmentWork in a fast-paced environment and remain emotionally controlled.Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, all weather conditions.Travel throughout the U.S. as needed.
