Lepley Recruiting Services is representing a premier supplier of tile, stone, and specialty surface materials. The Regional Account Manager is a team leader and ambassador for the company brand, responsible for new dealer/distributor acquisition while developing existing accounts in the Midwest region to include Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
Responsibilities:
• Travel throughout region to visit current and prospective customers.
• Identify and set up new accounts to increase market share and bolster overall sales volume.
• Service existing accounts with the goal of nurturing relationships and increasing sales.
• Meet & exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Set up product displays at dealer locations and modify as appropriate.
• Promote products at various tradeshows and industry events,
• Keep clients informed about new products and offerings through the organization and execution of informational product presentations.
• Present, promote and sell products using persuasive techniques to existing and prospective customers
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• B2B territory sales experience. Tile & Stone experience preferred
• Should have background working with distributors in the flooring sector
• BA or BS preferred
• Consultative selling approach and strategic thinking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven record in negotiation, decision making, conflict resolution, problem solving
• Technical skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, and CRM/
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Clean driving record and larger size vehicle required to carry products displays/sample boards
• Establishing, developing and maintaining positive long-term business and customer relationships
• Dynamic, resourceful and self-motived, engaging with positive energy and efficiency.
