The Financial Analyst (FP&A Inventory & Back Office Functions) will work with functional heads and their respective teams as an influential and trusted financial adviser. The Financial Analyst will be a part of the Corporate FP&A team, reporting to the Senior Finance Director. The Financial Analyst leads the financial review and communication of financial results for the various functional groups. The Financial Analyst also supports the functions by providing analytical and financial analysis for the goal of achieving results in line with established budgets or adjusted forecasts. This role requires critical thinking, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to develop effective partnerships throughout the company.


Responsibilities:

• Partners with the functional leads and their teams and the FP&A leads throughout the company to deliver accurate and comprehensive financial forecasts.

• Consolidates and provides insights into the financial results, forecasts and plans for review and presentation to the Executive Leadership Team and Brand Leaders.

• Develops and communicates financial reviews of key expense items, specifically with the Information Technology spend.

• Provides data, reports, and supporting information for analysis of short- and long-term financial plans and performance commitments.

•Ensures the consistency and assesses usefulness of analyses presented to senior leadership and company ownership.

• Perform such other duties as directed by the supervisor


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with focus in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or similar discipline

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis experience, preferably in the retail / wholesale sector

• Solid understanding of corporate finance concepts, accounting principles and FP&A business cycle

• Strong modeling and computer skills; comfortable with multiple tools, programs and platforms and highly proficient in Excel.

• Excellent communication skills; ability to summarize business results in a manner tailored to the audience

• Travel may be required, based on business needs.

• Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.


Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards and Company’s policy.

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day

• Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day

• Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods

• Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level
