Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the company?s business goals.
  • Provide visionary leadership and direction to the IT Infrastructure team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company?s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage systems, and data centers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Drive the adoption and management of cloud technologies, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure.
• Security and Compliance
  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company?s IT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards relevant to the business.
  • Provide requested information and participate in security assessments when needed during internal and external audits.
• Helpdesk and Support Services
  • Lead the IT Helpdesk team to provide efficient and effective technical support to all employees.
  • Develop and implement helpdesk policies and procedures to improve response times and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze helpdesk performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the efficiency and reliability of IT infrastructure.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize infrastructure performance, identifying cost savings and efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Implement best practices for infrastructure management, including capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Vendor and Budget Management:
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Evaluate and select new technologies and vendors that align with the company?s strategic goals.
• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and mentor the IT Infrastructure team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Promote professional development and continuous learning within the team, ensuring they stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Set departmental goals for the individual teams and provide ways to measure and motivate employees to meet those goals.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of top talent within the IT Infrastructure team.
• Innovation and Future Planning:
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and practices that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
  • Develop and maintain a forward-looking infrastructure roadmap that supports the company?s growth and strategic initiatives.
