Technical Lead - Full-Time Direct Hire - Onsite Requirement

Summary:

The Technical Lead plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing both legacy and new systems and technologies. This hands-on engineering role is responsible for providing IT and operational support to the organization, mentoring junior engineers, and assisting management in planning projects and managing team workloads.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate

• Lead the design and implementation of .NET applications and solutions.
• Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for internal systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to architect solutions for incidents and projects.
• Facilitate meetings with internal teams to gather and clarify business requirements.
• Offer IT expertise and input for ongoing process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal IT teams to design, build, and implement technical solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations for occasional support tasks.
• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and gather requirements for assigned projects.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience.
• Strong coding experience with VB.NET, C#.NET, SQL, and Python.
• Familiarity with Windows Forms.
• Experience working with Microsoft Access databases.
• Proficiency with Git or other code repositories.
• Demonstrated ability in systems analysis and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Comfort working in a team-oriented environment and engaging with end users and business leaders.

Preferred Experience of the Right Candidate (Not Required):

• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, or Dataiku.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Experience with PowerApps or other low-code platforms.
• Knowledge of industry-specific solutions, especially in areas such as agriculture, is a plus.
