As an Account Development Manager , you will grow new sales through assigned PPG Paints stores, growing both existing business year-over-year, and developing new accounts.
You will report to the Senior Regional Sales Manager and work remotely/on the field based in the Stuart and Vero Beach, FL area.
Key Responsibilities- New business development, while building relationships and provide outstanding customer service to existing customer accounts and new accounts with growth potential within the assign territory.
- Keep clients up to date with current promotions, new products, and with current customer service practices to find opportunities for growth.
- Face to face interaction with the clients and cold calling daily.
- Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
- Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to run accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports.
- Collaborate with store managers and employees to ensure customers' needs are met.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Sales experience, outside sales preferred with a hunter's mentality.
- 2 years of paint experience preferred.
- CRM software experience preferred while previous coatings experience is sought after.
- Daily travel within an assigned territory; must have valid driver's license.
