JSC Systems, a leading low-voltage systems integration company, is seeking an experienced Vice President of Field Operations to oversee our northern territory operations. This role involves leading installation operations, managing P&L responsibilities, growing revenue, and ensuring the success of our branches. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead branch operations, working closely with Branch Managers and Project Managers.
- Collaborate with corporate resources such as Preconstruction, Estimating, and Corporate Project Managers.
- Communicate and work with Senior Executives to meet and exceed company and client expectations.
- Contribute to company strategies, budgeting processes, and goal execution.
Resource Allocation and Management:
- Allocate personnel, materials, and tools within assigned branches.
- Ensure technicians and subcontractors have necessary certifications and training.
- Optimize resources, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement.
Client Relations and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks and address client concerns promptly.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage P&L and achieve forecasted contribution margins for multiple territories.
- Implement and manage programs to meet financial targets.
Operational Excellence:
- Foster a culture of high performance and operational excellence.
- Set clear expectations, coach field leaders, and measure results.
- Oversee technical staffing, subcontractor engagement, and training.
- Develop and enhance operational policies, procedures, and tools.
- Conduct monthly project delivery and profitability reviews.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior operational role for a commercial construction contractor, preferably within the commercial low voltage contracting/ systems integration industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management.
- Ability to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Compensation:
- Base salary plus bonus: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
