Custom Signage Fabricator
We are seeking a talented and experienced Fabricator with expertise in custom signage to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be tasked with the fabrication, assembly, and installation of unique signs, ensuring they align with quality standards and client requirements. This position demands a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble custom signage using a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, wood, and vinyl.
- Operate a range of machinery and tools, such as CNC routers, laser cutters, welding equipment, and hand tools, to produce signage components.
- Interpret and implement designs and blueprints provided by the design team.
- Ensure all signage is constructed in compliance with safety standards and client specifications.
- Conduct quality assessments on completed signage to guarantee accuracy and durability.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and installation teams for smooth project execution.
- Address and resolve any challenges encountered during the fabrication process.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area, following safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in custom signage fabrication, with a robust portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Skilled in operating fabrication machinery and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work within tight timelines.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Physical capability to lift heavy materials and remain on foot for extended periods.
- Willingness to relocate to Houston, TX (relocation assistance available).
