JRAD is seeking candidates for Health Life Science Analysts to support health technology development capabilities for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a versatile role, collaborating with the Government to define, execute, and oversee technology development initiatives, while providing on-demand proposal support.
  • Manage projects, identify/implement accessible technology solutions, and identify technology solutions needed to solve problems.
  • Support HEALTH SCIENCE FUTURES, focusing on medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, software development, Electronic Health Record/Cybersecurity, and DME accessibility.
  • Support SCALABLE SOLUTIONS, focusing on rapid information distribution via smartphones, behavior modification through mobile technology, efficient manufacturing and distribution logistics, regional response hub establishment, repurposing transportation mechanisms, and retooling factories for alternative manufacturing.
  • Assist project lead in executing multiple advanced technology programs.
  • Coordinate program activities with team members.
  • Plan tasks and monitor execution progress.
  • Support oversight of program activity, budget, and contractor progress.
  • Ensure efficient operations and timely product completion.
  • Provide contract management and acquisition support.
  • Develop program briefings for Government stakeholders.
  • Contribute to program plans, briefings, and technical reports.
  • Organize technical meetings and conferences.

Required Skills and Education:

  • Minimum of a PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical sciences or a relevant related field.
  • 12+ years of executive level technical experience in Industry, Government, or academia.
  • Experience supporting advanced technology development programs in health sciences or public health.
  • Familiarity with NIH or other federal grant programs and understanding of HHS public health communities, including Government, industry, and academia.
  • Proven track record managing schedule, budget, and program risks.
  • Proficiency in modern PC tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel.
