The Six Pillars of Character
Chandler School complements the Chandler Code through membership in Character Counts! , a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nonsectarian coalition of schools and community organizations. Character Counts! works to advance character education by teaching the Six Pillars of Character :
Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship.
By exploring the values found in the Six Pillars , Chandler students, faculty & staff commit themselves to the Chandler Code. As a member of the Character Counts! Coalition, Chandler is committed to seeking opportunities to integrate character education into new and existing programs and to encourage Chandler students and their families to live in accordance with core ethical values.
