Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate: 11/18/2024 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1922.71 - $2118.91
The population consists of neuro-medicine and neurosurgical subspecialties. This includes, but is not limited to: Acute stroke management (ischemic, hemorrhagic, SAH, etc.)Post-neurosurgical management (craniotomy, lumbar drains, complex neuro-spine)Seizure management (epilepsy, post-ictal and pseudo-seizures)Demyelinating diseases of the brain (Multiple Sclerosis)Demyelinating polyneuropathies (Guillain-Barre) Patients in this setting may require frequent neurological assessments and collaborative evaluations to manage intermediate care status. Continuity of care is facilitated in this unit through ICU transition for optimization of clinical outcomes. Registered nurses provide care in conjunction with the nursing assistant and medical team. Assignments are based on the patient’s needs, the geographical location of the patients, and the resources available. The charge nurse does not have a patient assignment. BLS is required upon hire.

Registered Nurse, PCU
Experience: 1 year
Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted)
Certifications: BLS
EKG exam - must pass during orientation
Must read and interpret strips
Neuro experience
80 mile radius
