Maintains the overall goal of providing for each student a program reflecting educational excellence and equality.Duties and Responsibilities: Learning Environment, Engagement and Commitment to Learning**Promote a positive learning environment that is respectful and equitable.Promote developmentally appropriate standards of behavior that support a productive learning environment.Maximize service delivery by effectively managing routines and transitions.Utilize the CARE and TCI models to influence all interactions and components of behavioral support through the full spectrum of a students baseline behavior to crisis level and recovery.Completes clinical interviews with newly assigned students and their families. Develop a students Individual Support Plan (ISP) at intake.Organize space, materials, and equipment.Maintain an on-going inventory of equipment and supplies.Planning for Active LearningDevelop plans aligned with standards, build on students knowledge and skills and provide an appropriate level of challenge.Develop plans to actively engage students in service delivery.Select appropriate assessment strategies to identify and plan learning targets in accordance with the students IEP and as requested by the Local Education Agency (LEA).Serves as liaison with all community providers appropriate to the case, LEA, and any other community or state human service organization, which may presently or in the near future be involved with the child and family.Service DeliveryImplement service delivery for learning.Lead students to construct meaning and apply new learning through the use of a variety of differentiated and evidence-based learning strategies.Assess student learning, provide feedback and adjust service delivery.Provides guidance and assistance to the Education staff in order to enhance the delivery of effective educational services to the student.Provide crisis support and assistance as needed during the school day.Professional Responsibilities and LeadershipEngage in continuous professional learning to enhance service delivery and improve student learning.Collaboratively develop and sustain a professional learning environment to support student learning.*Work with colleagues, students and families to develop and sustain a positive school climate that s *
