Avera St. Luke's Nephrology/Urology is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
- Plans, organizes and directs all aspects of nursing services in the Nephrology Clinic.
- Demonstrates effective leadership skills, works collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems, and supports the Clinic’s mission. Maintains current data for Performance Improvement studies.
- The ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice are exemplified within this Job Description.
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to provide nursing care for the patient throughout their life span.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer’s status.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
Education and/or Experience
- Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Nursing experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current license from the State of South Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Current CPR certified is required.
- ACLS (advanced Cardiac Life Support) is preferred.
Work Schedule
- Day Shift; 48 hours every 2 weeks
- Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $26.25 - $39.25 per hour
