Iowa and the portion of Illinois that is generally north of Interstate 72.LOCATION:The successful candidate must live within the geographic boundaries of the territory (Iowa, Northern Illinois)JOB SUMMARY:To confer with existing and prospective customers, assess customer needs, and sell aftermarket goods and services and capital equipment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Initiate contact and follow up with potential customers to present our new products or servicesSell products requiring extensive technical expertise and support for installation and operation.Travel throughout the territory and visit customers on a regular basisBuild relationships with existing customersCultivate new leads within the sales territoryManage multiple accounts simultaneouslyConfer with customers and engineers to assess needs and propose solutionsEducate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionallyDevelop and execute a strategy to generate new customers in your sales territoryKeep company abreast of new business development opportunities, account status, potential customers, customer needs, and competitive issuesMaintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions in order to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are metDevelop new sales strategies and modelsEvaluate sales strategies' effectivenessMeet personal and team sales targetsAttend online and in-person meetings, trainings, trade shows, and sales eventsDiagnose problems with installed equipment and provide field support to customer locationsPrepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.Provide technical and nontechnical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipmentDocument activities and maintain customer data in CRM system in accordance with management expectationsMaintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accountsRepresent the brand during all customer and prospect interactionsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline.A minimum of 4 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
