What This Job Involves

Currently we are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our account team. Our analyst will be responsible for preparing budgets, forecasts, revenue and expense analysis and business trend analysis for all locations within the Americas Geo. You will provide senior management with financial and business trend reporting used for planning and strategic and tactical decision making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead budgeting and forecasting activities; including OPEX project and resource allocation reviews for Americas.
  2. Identify tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps, and financial risks through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  3. Manage annual OPEX budgets within KPI targets of +/- 1% established in the major reforecast planning cycles.
  4. Evaluate financial and operational performance and provide suggestions for areas of improvements.
  5. Responsible for the compilation and analysis of financial and operational data required for quarterly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.
  6. Facilitate monthly accrual submissions from the Facility team inclusive of providing accrual guidance.
  7. Prepare and present monthly client site spend report by region.
  8. Provide accurate financial information within deadlines, including month end reports, accruals, fundings, ad hoc analyses, budgets, and forecasts to client and to account management team.
  9. Manage quarterly funds tracker report and ensure proper client approval for exceptions are obtained.
  10. Participate in the quarterly preparation of ASC 606 financial restatements.
  11. Monitor and respond to inquiries submitted to JLL Finance alias.
  12. Special projects and other functions as required by Finance Manager or client.

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  2. 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience.
  3. Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms.
  4. Advanced Excel skills or Google Workspace, experience with SQL, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards a plus.
  5. Strong financial/analytical skills with proven capabilities in financial modeling.
  6. Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  7. High level of attention to detail and accuracy and ability to make effective decisions and solve problems.
  8. Self-starter, team player, with ability to bring alternate points of view to the discussion and analysis.
  9. Advanced presentation and communication skills (oral and written).
  10. Experience with real estate a plus.
