The Treasury Capital Markets (TCM) team is a team within our Corporate Treasury department. We are responsible for balance sheet management strategy, portfolio and brokered deposit notional investment allocation decisions, balance sheet modeling and analytics, market risk management, ALM derivatives, and net interest revenue forecasting. The overall team manages fixed-income investments in several portfolios totaling approximately $500 billion in balance sheet assets and approximately $100 billion in off-balance-sheet brokered deposit agreement notional investments.

What you have

Required Skills

  1. Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology.
  2. 5+ years of professional experience in development, support, and maintenance of ETL and database applications.
  3. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python and other scripting languages.
  4. Strong SQL knowledge, shell scripting and deep understanding of relational database concepts.
  5. Experience with Farnam or Control M.
  6. Experience with GCP technologies (GCS, BigQuery, Dataproc).
  7. Familiar and comfortable with agile development techniques.
  8. Familiarity with SCM and DevOps tool suites and CI/CD best practices; examples include Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.), Bamboo, Jenkins, Concourse etc.
  9. Critical-thinking and strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze and understand data.

Preferred Skills

  1. Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
  2. Ability to interpret key trends and metrics and leverage them for actionable decisions.
  3. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills for interacting and throughout all levels of the organization.

What You'll Do

We are looking for a Senior Manager with a strong technology and solution delivery acumen who will be responsible for the successful design, development, and delivery of business intelligence solutions. One of the key initial responsibilities would be to develop the data science and engineering infrastructure for the net interest revenue and market risk forecasting projects. In addition, the individual would be:

  1. Working closely with business and other stakeholders to understand the needs and implementation.
  2. Performing ETL design, development, data management and data analysis.
  3. Creating data model, performance tuning, load plan etc. Making sure that deliverables fulfill both functional and non-functional requirements.
  4. Planning, estimation, scheduling, prioritization, and coordination of technical activities related to system development.
  5. Ensuring system alignment to architecture policies and best practices; ensure that process methodologies are followed in system development.
  6. Engaging with core technology teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data engineering solutions.
  7. Providing mentorship and hands-on coding support to the team.
  8. Identifying opportunities for system reuse and system simplification.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
