In this role you will get to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the accomplishment of a full range of logistics maintenance and life cycle sustainment planning and support functions for domestic and overseas projects. In this role you will: you will manage a cross-functional team who performs a range of services to include supply chain risk management; project material procurement, warehousing, shipping, accountability; diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence management; engineering data for provisioning; item unique identification; and hazardous material shipping. You will be responsible for controlling risks and rapidly adapting to emerging requirements.What You'll Be Doing:Lead project teams in support of complex, and often critical, cost-effective cross functional logistics and supply chain strategies; system reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM); and related business initiatives;Develop and manage resilient logistics infrastructure based on program of record's (POR) planned acquisition, procurement and fielding plan;Develop and implement logistics maintenance, life cycle sustainment plans (LCSP), and support functions to ensure system continuous operational availability (Ao) both domestically and overseas;Develop and manage RAM plans and activities;Identify logistics and supply chain criteria and metrics;Develop and manage program/project supply chain risk management plans;Develop and manage diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence management plans from multiple sources of supply;Develop and manage system/component exchange, salvage and disposal across the system's life cycle;Develop and manage the engineering data for provisioning plan;Implement, integrate and leverage logistics maintenance management system/components inventory; property and asset management; maintenance and spares management; and transportation, storage and distribution systems;Develop and manage an item unique identification (IUID) and IUID registry plan for system and subsystem items using the government furnished information (GFI) the Marine Corps Gold Standard; ensure interoperability and upgradeability across systems;Develop and manage hazardous shipping, storage and incident plans;Identify end to end POR risk, challenges and deviations and develop suitable courses of action for risk mitigation; drive continuous process improvements throughout the supply chain for all assigned projects and activities;Develop and manage government property management plans to include proper usage, storage, transportation, care, accountability, and reporting;Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule;Issue written and oral instructions, develop work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedites workflow;Provide contract deliverable logistics status updates to the client and program stakeholders.What Required Skills You'll Bring:BA/BS required; MA/MS preferredSystems Acquisition and Program Management and TrainingDoD-Federal Contract Management and Training (DFARS)Advanced Logistics Management and Training (Joint/Combined/Interagency/Multi-National)What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Minimum Secret ClearanceLive in the Northern VA area | Hybrid (In-office/Remote work schedule)15+ years’ work experience in a logistics related job; specific Marine Corps logistics experience desired.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively within a team setting and with multiple internal and external stakeholders.Highly organized; possess excellent organizational skills to balance many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items.Able to work independently to achieve the desired endstate; exhibits high levels of leadership, initiative and personal responsibility for team outcomes.Hold a valid US passport and be able to travel as the need arises.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.Our Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
