Salary Range: $55,210 to $62,000
Shift: Day/Swing shift available 7 days a week
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
To manage all casino operations in a backup role, which includes enforcing gaming regulations, during the incumbent's shift on property. To act as the senior advisor to all departments on overall casino operations. To develop, enhance, and maintain positive and effective relations with GUESTS and STAFF MEMBERS, and with municipal, state, and federal authorities on casino and gaming operations.

  • Within the realm of the responsibility of the job, maintains a clean and safe work environment Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures, which includes use of safety equipment. Incumbent are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions, and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of unsafe conditions, as directed.
  • Manages all casino operations, which includes maintaining the facility's operating license and acts to enforce gaming regulations, during the incumbent's shift on property.
  • Acts as the senior advisor to all departments on overall casino operations, including planning, organizing, and staffing.
  • Maintains positive and effective relations with customers and team members, and with municipal, state, and federal authorities on casino and gaming operations.
  • Advises management team, when appropriate, on job standards for team members, performance expectations, and possible protocols to establish and maintain positive work morale and effective employee relations.
  • Provides direction, advises and makes recommendations pertaining to all casino operations and gaming regulations.
  • Manages all casino operations and team members in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  • Authorizes complimentary casino services to customers or team members within limits as established by the General Manager.
  • Accesses entry to all casino assets and restricted areas, as authorized by the General Manager.
  • Performs, when necessary, as a backup to casino staff.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of casino operations and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  • Demonstrate effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, which includes contacts with STAFF MEMBERS, GUESTS, and State of Colorado Gaming and other regulatory officials.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience persuading and negotiating.
  • Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.

Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License. Must be at least eighteen years of age.
