Job Title: SCADA Technician Consultant

Requirements

1. Solid experience of working with diverse computer systems and networks
   - Linux and Windows
2. Knowledge of EMS / SCADA systems
3. Project management skills, such as organization and goal-setting
4. Troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail
5. Excellent customer service skills
6. Experience with any of the following protocols is desired:
   1. DNP3
   2. TASE.2 / MMS (ICCP)
   3. C37.118, STTP
   4. TCPIP/ICMP
7. Knowledge or experience with Wireshark or other TCP capture tools
8. Any Programming / scripting skills desirable such as PERL, VBA, SQL, Java, PowerShell, Python

Primary Responsibilities

1. Process any new SCADA/ICCP/PMU/RTU tickets
2. Review open trouble tickets for resolution/escalation/closure
3. Collaborate and assist internal and external customers in troubleshooting data problems related to:
   1. RTUs
   2. ICCP datalinks
   3. Network failures
   4. PMU/PDC datalinks
4. Provision new PMU devices
5. Utilize diagnostic tools to proactively detect data quality problems
6. Execute and adhere to CIP compliance procedures, regulations and evidence gathering
7. Review and update online and offline databases to resolve issues
8. Support system and application level patching and updates
9. Perform RTU testing with external customers

Estimated Compensation

Min Rate: $52.50
Max Rate: $75.00
