Georgia State University's Department of Auxiliary and Support Services is looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist II to join our team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
The Customer Services Specialist II will provide support to the department of Auxiliary and Support Services. This position is primarily based at the Atlanta Campus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Responsible for processing all cash, check, and credit card transactions for the sales of parking permits, Affiliate panther cash payments, MARTA media, citation payments, and other miscellaneous payments to the department.
- Assists in the parking registration process and verify accuracy of information input into the PERCS parking management system.
- Addresses parking and/or transportation issues from faculty, staff, students, and visitors regarding information on procedures, policies, and regulations.
- May process visitor parking requests from university departments and distribute the visitor parking lists to parking facility attendants as required.
- Provides assistance to the Director by compiling special reports as requested, performs needed data entry as requested.
- Issues Vending refunds as needed due to vending machine malfunctions and records the event in the vending refund log.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and two years of customer service, administrative or office experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and able to learn other computer software applications.
- Consistently demonstrates accuracy, timeliness, and reliability with a high degree of independence and initiative, balancing multiple tasks or assignments well.
