NPC, Inc. is looking for a Material Handler Lead to play a vital role in our production environment by assisting in the coordination of material movement and employees performing the work.
ABOUT
The Material Handler Lead should possess the ability to perform work of a Material Handler at each facility. You will drive gasoline, propane, and electric powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts and clamps to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products and equipment. You will need to understand and communicate production orders, ensure all materials for production process are available and supplied as appropriate, and utilize technology to track inventory and maintain accuracy.
This person will assist the supervisor in team activities and initiatives and need to understand and support company mission, vision, budgets, goals, and objectives. You will be responsible to help improve and develop people, processes, equipment, materials, and the overall environment.
Strong communication skill and your ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while demonstrating a positive attitude towards safety, security, quality and productively will be key to your success.
SCHEDULE
Primarily a Monday – Friday, 7:00AM – 4:00PM schedule. However, must remain flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs surrounding the dynamic environment of NPC.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
