We are searching for a professional Harnesses and PCBA-qualified auditor/assessor in the So Cal, Nor Cal, and Pacific Northwest region.
What to Expect:
This is an ongoing, as-needed, 1-day audit role in the West Coast Region. There are expected to be 19 Assessments done in quarters 3 and 4 in 2024. SQA Services will offer program orientation, NDAs, associate orientation to procedures, supplier liaison, report reviews for consistency, alignment with client criteria, etc.
What You'll Do:
- Supplier Assessments will be conducted utilizing the provider's proprietary Commodity & Special Process Assessment Tool
- Line and workstation setup Tool and equipment control processes such as cutting, stripping, lead preparation, solder, solderability, bonding
- Installation of contacts and connectors Electrical test methods
- Evaluate the potential failure mechanisms of commodity types and special processes
- Configured to the industry standards/codes applicable to the commodity or special process
- Assesses the supplier Quality Management System to the appropriate industry (e.g. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, AS 9100,)
- Have an in-depth understanding of the process, materials, tools, and challenges around manufacturing the commodity the supplier manufactures
- A minimum of 7 years of experience is required
- Experience in Qualifying suppliers
- Experience in Harnesses and PCBA
- Experience with Quality Standards (e.g. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, AS 9100,)
- Due to the nature of the products, US Citizenship is also a requirement, and background checks are required
$900 - $1,250 one-time
Additional .67 per mile traveled. Reimbursement on meals and other travel cost if necessary
