Real Estate Finance Attorney
We are searching for a highly-qualified Real Estate Finance Attorney to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for real estate finance and significant experience in handling complex transactions, including loan preparation, negotiations, and due diligence for various real estate dealings. Compensation: $220,000.00 - $310,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent our firm and clients in real estate financing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
- Prepare and negotiate intricate loan documentation and manage the closing of these loans.
- Review and analyze due diligence materials associated with real estate transactions.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on a variety of real estate transactions.
- Collaborate with attorneys within the firm to manage complex real estate finance matters effectively.
- Work with CMBS lenders, special and master servicers, commercial banks, insurers, and private lenders to facilitate financial transactions.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a proven strong academic record.
- Active Bar admission in Texas.
- At least 4-6 years of substantial real estate finance experience.
- Proven ability to prepare and negotiate complex loan documents.
- Experience conducting due diligence for real estate loan closings.
- Demonstrated experience in recapitalizations, joint ventures, and related corporate and financial transactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an AmLaw 200 law firm is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Expertise in legal and regulatory issues pertinent to real estate finance.
