Job Summary

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with transporting clients to work, supporting them while in the job, assisting with community integration, and providing life skills assistance and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transporting clients to events in the community
• Transport clients to work
• Assist clients with employment-related tasks such as resume development and mock interviews
• Provide day-to-day supervision
• Utilize computer skills to assist clients with applying to jobs online
• Write clear and legible notes for tracking clients' progress

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a job coach, Direct Support Staff, Caregiver, Home Health, or similar role is preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Fully vaccinated
• Knowledge of basic computer skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid CPR/First Aid Card
• Compassionate, respectful, and ethical
• Updated TB test
