RESPOND, Inc. is seeking a Housing Program Assistant. This position reports to the Manager of Housing Services, and provides support in varoius aspects of the Housing program. This is a Monday through Friday, full time, non-exempt hourly position, 8 hours shift, with half hour unpaid lunch.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely service and support to clients, such as referrals for other services, conducting a needs evaluation and resolving complaints
- Maintains a consistent and effective program, ensuring positive staff/client communication
- Collects rent fees and follows up with tenants as appropriate to collect late rents
- Sends out late notices of rent fees
- Helps with Housing inspections
- Prioritizes all work orders for Respond Housing program
- Ability to work flexible schedule as required
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Respects confidentiality of information about agency staff, and other program operations
- Plans, assigns, coordinates, organizes and prioritizes work
- Models direct, positive, honest, and respectful behavior in every aspect of work and community service
- Applies the highest ethical standards to themselves and others daily
- Actively participates in teambuilding, which includes sharing ideas and mutual support of team members
- Consistently uses interpersonal skills that are appropriate for individual styles, personalities, cultures, the nature of the work, and the environment in which the work is being done
- Practices honest, respectful and direct communication as well as active listening
- Muat have a valid driver's license in good standing
- Communicate effectively with staff, co-workers, and families on a regular basis
- Minimum of an Associate's degree
- At least one (1) year experience working with tenants
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to quickly learn program-specific software programs
- Web-based computing experience preferred
- $16 - $17 per hour and is commensurate with experience
