The OpsTech IT organization, part of Amazon’s WW Operations & Robotics team, designs, deploys, and supports IT infrastructure, devices, and services across Amazon’s Global Fulfillment Centers, Transportation, and Specialty Customer Solutions. Our customers range from Amazon lockers to Amazon’s Air Hubs.

The OpsTech Infrastructure Product Management (OTIP) team owns, defines, and operationalizes products and programs to deliver highly reliable IT infrastructure and world-class IT support. We aim to improve service delivery speed and drive new innovations for customers while establishing and enforcing Ops Tech IT’s product development life cycle.

We are seeking a seasoned product manager to partner with customers in the discovery phase of the product development lifecycle for problem spaces such as Device Technology, Network Design, and Network Automation. In this role, you will work with strong technical leaders to define customer problems, business requirements, and launch and post-launch measurement. You will also align interests and implement scalable solutions with partner teams across the company.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience owning feature delivery and trade-offs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
