An IT Associate at Happier plays a crucial role in supporting our organization's information technology infrastructure. They are responsible for a variety of tasks related to hardware, software, and network systems.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to end-users by resolving hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Install, upgrade, and configure software applications and operating systems.
- Assist with network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN connectivity.
- Implement and manage data backup procedures to ensure data security and recovery.
- Create, modify, and delete user accounts, manage access permissions, and enforce security protocols.
- Implement and maintain basic cybersecurity measures, such as antivirus software, firewalls, and access control.
- Keep accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and support requests.
- Train employees on the use of IT systems and tools, as well as best practices for cybersecurity.
- Respond to IT-related queries and issues, escalating more complex problems to higher-level IT staff as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements.
Minimum Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement, although an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Understanding of networking principles, protocols, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues logically and efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist end-users effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage IT assets and documentation.
- Familiarity with basic cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
- Ability to collaborate with other IT professionals and departments within the organization.
- Relevant certifications like CompTIA A+ or Network+ may be an advantage.
- IT Associates should be open to learning new technologies and adapting to changing IT environments.
- Availability to work weekends and nights.

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $65,000 - $70,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
